hotelEverything is exotic and big in Brazil which means hotels make no exception. There are plenty of amazing hotels here, from the luxury ones where you are most likely to run into a celebrity to the cheaper ones where you’ll be fellow budget travelers.

Need to know

The hotels in Brasilia, the city’s capital, are neither the most elegant nor the cheapest, as the city is neither the most glamorous nor the most touristy place. However, there are plenty of nice hotels to choose from if you are stuck visiting the capital.

Sao Paulo, on the other hand, being the country’s commercial capital, has some of the most expensive hotels in Brazil. There are plenty of cheap(er) ones as well if you happen to be on a budget.

Rio de Janeiro is one of the most sought after holiday locations in the world hence you’ll find the world’s most well know hotel chains here. Most of the hotels are located on the beach.

In general, the prices are determined by the facilities offered and the hotel’s location. The tourist season also influences the prices, which means during summer – November to March – the prices are at their highest.
